Come Hear

Listen, a bell is ringing.

Listen, voices are singing.

This is where the mountains

Climb to the sky,

Where the world is painted,

And words are songs.

Where the past meets the present,

And comes back to life.

This is where God dances.

This is where God plays.

Listen, children are laughing.

Listen, hands are clapping.

Five, six, seven generations,

Two hundred years we gather.

This is where the steeple reaches

For the sky,

And the doors are open for

All to come inside.

Where broken souls are welcome,

And heavy hearts can heal.

This is where God speaks.

This is where God opens up his arms.

Listen, the mountains are singing.

Listen, someone is praying.

Here is where we bow our heads

Here is where we pray,

This is where we come

To laugh and cry.

This is where we come

When we need to

Listen.

Part-Time Pastor

Church or Organization: Clover Hill Reformed Church

Flemington, NJ

Part-time

Clover Hill Reformed Church, a traditional, homey congregation with an active core of about 75 congregants, is seeking a part-time pastor.

The last four years have been a transition from a long term pastorate to rethinking what it means for us to be organized as a church and our mission in the community. We now have active ministry teams that oversee all the work of the church led by a large group of committed servant leaders. Due to this new leadership structure and new programs that have been initiated in the past three years, there is a new energy in our congregation. We look forward to working with a new pastor to help us translate this renewed energy into action, growth and ministry.

Clover Hill Reformed Church is in central New Jersey, almost equidistant between Philadelphia and New York and about a 20 minute drive to Princeton. The church is located in a rural/suburban area with one of the top school systems in the State. The parsonage is a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath ranch with a large family room, a deck and a 2-car garage. Work load and compensation will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
