Whitesburg, Kentucky

Come be a part of change for the better as you and your team hit the ground running with a building project for HOMES (Housing Oriented Ministries Established for Service).

HOMES staff and volunteers have a passion for making the dream of affordable housing a reality for low-income families living among the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.

Your group will have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Christ as you help with home-building projects ranging from demolition to new construction. Teams that serve with HOMES often find themselves challenged as they experience rural poverty in a new way.

And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it. —Psalm 90:17, KJV

“I would like to thank each staff and volunteer that took part in working on my house. To me, the HOMES Program was a blessing. There’s no way to put into words my heartfelt thanks. I pray God will be with and bless each one of you. Thank you so much!” —Rehabilitation program homeowner
